The return window
- New, unopened products: 365 days with proof of purchase, for a full refund.
- Opened products: 180 days with proof of purchase, for a full refund. Opened or assembled is fine, and the original packaging isn't required.
- Mattresses can be exchanged for another mattress one time within 90 days.
Can't be returned
- Plants, cut fabric, custom countertops and as-is products.
- Anything modified, dirty, stained or damaged — drilled, painted or missing parts.
- Products bought at IKEA stores outside the US.
How to return
- Go to the Exchanges & Returns entrance at any IKEA store. Bring the item, photo ID, receipt (or order confirmation) and the card you paid with.
- Not at IKEA Planning Studios or Pick Up Points. For delivered items, contact the Customer Support Center to schedule a pickup.
- Refunds go back to the original form of payment.
